An Anishinaabe Artist, from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. 
Living on Manitoulin Island, in Wikwemikong Unceded Territory as a practicing artist.

Jamieson is a practicing artist – shaped by her identity as an Anishinaabe on her mother’s side Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and Haudenosaunee on her father’s side Six Nation’s of the Grand River. Studio practice of painting, drawing, photography, design, print media, along with cultural awareness in craft making, sewing, beading & leather works. Themes are formed in part of history, dream realm, traditional dancing, clan systems, natural elements, landscapes, figures, sounds, and abstract forms. Jamieson continues a life practice of being a creative, being inspired by known and learned concepts from the land & water based living. 

The process & practice as an artist to answer; who I am? where do I come from? what are my gifts? Jamieson takes on the role as a storyteller through her creative artworks and art related projects.
