Mississaugas of the New Credit has also partnered with The Harmony Collaboration – as a musical theatre performance that has drawn inspiration from the Kiinwi Dabaajmowin – Our Story, a painted mural that resides in the Elementary school within the community of MNCFN. This brings to life the elements of the historical and cultural visions of first peoples and the highlight of the Anishinaabe creation story.
We have written lyrics by Steven Campbell and music but Nancy Walker, with myself of choreography. Commissioned and produced by The Harmony Collaboration. This is a premiere and free event on June 9th at 7:30pm at the Mississauga of the New Credit Community Centre.
